My Hero, the Ranger

All in a days work when you're a state park ranger. This deer had fallen into a man-made water retention pond and apparently was stuck. Who came to the rescue? Ranger Zach! My brother was the hero of the day saving this little deer from the freezing water. Pretty sweet outfit he got to wear too :) Way to go brother!
Yes, the snow continued through out the night. I was very pleased when I woke up this morning and called the snow line at work and it said the facility was closed! I even had a hard time falling back to sleep I was so excited! I eventually did, and then didn't wake up until I smelled pancakes and sausage. Kevin brought me breakfast in bed! What a way to spend the snow day!!! I tried to measure again, but my ruler was too short. I got out the measuring tape, but that made it difficult to take a picture. But I will say it looked like 14 inches. The news said Centennial got 16 inches, so basically it snowed quite a bit!

We have some great daggers hanging off our roof now!

Look at this snow drift!!! I thought it was pretty cool! :)

I'm assuming we'll be back at work tomorrow, so we won't be enjoying a 4 day weekend, but a day off in the middle of the week was nice! We were able to make it up to Kyla and Steve's house this afternoon for some games and some Baby Ellery time :) She's a week and one day old now!! The older she gets, the sooner my little man arrives!
